Dracolyths are larva Dragons?

The monsters Kyle saw looked like huge white metallic insects to me.

No one knows. You encounter the gaurdian dragon in Elpis at the end of episode 1 but by the time you reach Shelcoof, it has entered a huge cocoon from which it emerges as the huge grey armoured dragon we fully see in the last episode.

I guess with its close proximity to Shelcoof a drone wasn’t required to control it.

Perhaps the Guardian Dragon’s drone controlled the Shelcoof itself. That way, it would control the dragon indirectly perhaps?

Good photo man…now look at the ones from Uru.

What if the Guardian D was Merged with its Drone…a long time ago…Or prehaps the Gaurdian D is the ultimate Guardian…long lasting(immortal???)
Strong, and powerfull

And Nuse is a Hunter of rouge programs???

The Nuse only attacks you in Zwei when getting too close to Shelcoof for comfort, so I guess it served as another guardian.

The way I see it, drones were only necessary in fully activating certain ruins. I can only guess as to who awoke Shelcoof but I am certain that a drone wasn’t needed to control it.

The absence of a drone is puzzling yet explicable.

Weren’t the concept of drones only invented at PDS time? In that case the absense of a drone from the game is because they hadnt decided that they existed yet. Of course Smilebit can allways say in hindsight one was there that we just didnt see. However, if they werent designed then we cant draw a conclusion from a drone’s absence one way or the other.

TA invented a backstory for drones at the very beginning of the series. The drone riding the Dark Dragon activated the Tower outside of the Imperial capital with devastating consequences (I love that cut-scene).

Also, notice how Azel resembles the Sky Rider when comparing their overall color-scheme.

Yes but the Sky-Rider was waring armour and that was Azel’s “natural” body

So lemmie get this straight… Nuse is Also a Gaurdian(-like dragoon???) similar to the Twin Guardians in the Tower in Saga???

And still why is it that the Guardian D in Zwei is possibly immortal…as compared to the other Guardian Dragon Atolm

Furthermore…IS Abbad’s Dragonmare the authentic article of the ancients, or the Empire? And If the Empire, why would a Drone use an Imperial weapon??? Are the Dragonmares another failed attempt by the ancients to create a dragon, that the Imperium just (re)activated???

There is skin beneath Azel’s armour. If you look closely you’ll see the skin goes underneath. The Sky Rider’s armour was much more bulky, however…it makes me wonder why he covered himself up… did he not want to be known?

It’s likely that the “Nuse” (is this name confirmed in one of the guidebooks?) is a Guardian. I’d say Shelcoof summoned it.

Gash says some beasts will not die until their purposes are fufilled. My guess is that the Ancients designed this creature to survive so long as Shelcoof existed.

It was a dragonmare, and the dragonmares were created using the Cradle. However Abadd (or a drone) was required to operate the Cradle, so my guess is that he used the position he was in to create his own dragon. Abadd’s mare was a lot more powerful than the other mare’s - he probably didn’t make the Empire’s dragonmares as strong as they could have been.

I donot believe so…look at Abbad…he was not human looking at all…Azel’s body was as she was…she whore clothing over it

But Just a Guardian…or Guardian D

Ok

He Who Is The Sky, was it really necessary to quote that huge post just to say OK?

Also Solo has their been official conformation that the SkyRider is a drone? His armour is undoubtedly of the ancient style and of the same make as Azel’s but isnt it possible that it was found in a ruin along with the dragon?

LOL he’s got a good sense of humour

I think for Azel it really was her body and not some kind of armor. Sure the top was made to look like human skin, but I don’t think the rest was just an exterior and not her body…This is confirmed, I think with showing her feet like that…it’s clearly what you’d consider an “armor” part and yet they also clearly have a shape that shows it cant be just “armor” but rather how Azel’s body is…Especially on her right leg that on the lower part looks normal and not “Drony” and yet there is no clear line of where the “armor” would end and the leg would start, it’s a natural looking flow unlike the part of her neck that does look like it could be a suit.

However I do believe the sky rider was a drone as well, just perhaps TA hadn’t settled on the design of the drones yet. Or maybe just a different less advanced drone as well, look how different Abadd is, there could be drones in any shape/size as well

He put the parts that he wrote inside the quote tags by mistake. I just edited the post for him.

Nothing has been confirmed, save that the Sky Rider was not Lundi. It’s the best theory I can think of though, considering his non-human qualities.

I think that everything below her chest area is armour, even around her toes. However from the picture you posted it looks like that skin goes under the armour, but there is clearly a black part showing around her knee area. This is perhaps some thin armour beneath, or perhaps some of the skin around the knee area is black.

Appologies He Who Is The Sky(if that is your real name) I didnt notice that.

No appologies needed…I saw my error in the post aswell :stuck_out_tongue:
Mybad for lack of clarity

well from that picture of Azel I would say it is quite clear. Armour being white going over her toes as well and where it should be, then perhaps the black part is just another part of her suit that comes with the armour. As it all stops round her neck. I dont know how the hell ya meant to get into it, but she never takes it off so perhaps she has always worn it from the moment she was “created”.
